The Tucson Museum of Art & Historic Block featurs permanent and changing exhibitions in contemporary structure. The museum is housed in restored houses of the historic Presido district. The museum is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and Sunday from Noon until 4:00 p.m. The museum is closed major holidays and Mondays from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Docent-led tours may be scheduled by calling (520) 696-7450. Docents are available daily to answer questions and share information with the public about the Museum and Historic Block. Regularly scheduled tours of the Museum exhibitions and the Historic Block are offered October 1 through May 1, Tuesday through Saturday at 11:00 a.m. and on the first and third Sunday at 2:00 p.m. All tours are free, with the price of admission to the museum. Tours meet in the museum lobby.
