The Rim Country Museum is quaintly set in the award winning Green Valley Park. It is comprised of several historical buildings and objects of local significance. The entrance of the museum was the Forest Ranger's residence, originally built in 1907. The Historical Society, in conjunction with the Payson Rimstones Rock Club, displays gems and minerals found in the Rim Country. The displays show the various material, and the sources of each, along with explanations of usage, from jewelry to manufactured items.

There is also an annual concert schedule that is announced prior to the fair. Exhibition buildings and grounds include the Agriculture Center, Arizona Plaza Building, Avenue of Flags, Cattle Barns, Exhibit Building, Grandstand-Arena, Hacienda Home Arts Center, Wesley Bolin Building, and the Party Gras.
