Ten-ee-ah, in the Sushwap language still spoken by "First Nations" people means "big animal", that is, the moose. Ten-ee-ah Lodge includes the main lodge with two guestrooms, eight deluxe cabins, and one rustic cabin. The cabins, all named after Canadian animals, are located in a quiet bay with a view of beautiful Spout Lake. Summer activities include horseback riding, canoeing, motorboats, hiking, fishing, and mountain biking. Winter offers dog mushing, skiing, cross country skiing, snowshoes and snowmobiling.
