A visit to Burnaby Village Museum is like stepping back in time. This
10-acre, open-air museum features a village, a farmhouse and the
historic 1912 C.W. Parker Carousel
Visitors can meander through the streets where they are welcomed by
costumed townspeople in over 30 picturesque shops and homes. Tour a
one-room schoolhouse, a Chinese herbalists store and a blacksmith's
shop, have lunch in the Ice Cream Parlour and take a ride on the
carousel. Demonstrations, exhibits and displays reveal life as is was in Burnaby in 1925.
