The interesting landscape of this park north of
Cassiar is the result of glacial ice sheetts melting some 8000 years ago, leaving behind a maze or gravel ridges known as "eskers." A multitude of beautifully colored small lakes including Boya Lake, the largest, were then formed. Visitors can swim, boat, and explore the glacial landscape, or they can fish for grayling in nearby Dease Lake.
The park has 45 campsites and is open from about May to October. There are no campsite reservations.
This is just one of hundreds of British Columbia Provincial Parks.
