Kerrisdale Veterinary Hospital has been providing veterinary care to Vancouver since it opened in 1946 as a dog clinic in the village of Kerrisdale. It has four separate climate controlled wards including a dedicated cat ward and an isolation ward, and treats all varieties of dogs and cats as well as exotic species. A full service surgical theatre for many types of soft tissue and orthopedic surgery is available. The hospital provides day-care and short or longer stay boarding as well as full bathing and grooming facilities.
