This wilderness area is accessible only by foot or horse along three sections of Lower Mainland heritage trails. The Dewdney (1860), the Whatcom (1858) and the Hope Pass (1861) trails are silent reminders of earlier attempts to cross the inhospitable Cascade Mountains. Today's travelers can enjoy the variety of terrain and vegetation that can be encountered along the trails as they pass through the Snass and Skaist drainages. Cascade is situated northwest of
Manning Provincial Park.
This is just one of hundreds of British Columbia Provincial Parks.
