The Cottage Resort offers varying sized cottages ranging from cozy studio and one-bedroom cottages up to three bedroom cottages. In a tranquil setting, tis Salt Spring Island resort is situated on a sunny beach on St Mary Lake. It is and ideal location for family vacations and getaway for couples. Most cottages are equipped with fireplaces. Complimentary canoes and rowboat are available. On the site, guests will find a play area, fishing, sun decks, and flower gardens. The Cottage Resort is open each of the four seasons. In the fall, Cottage Resort offers three deluxe cottages that feature full kitchens, fireplaces and bathtubs in the bathrooms. A perfect romantic getaway, the cottages include such amenities as a voucher for breakfast at one of the local cafes, firewood, canoes, and cable television.

Seattle Japanese Cultural Festival Seattle WA April26-28 The festival features Japanese exhibits, performances, and demonstrations. Held at the Seattle Center in the Fisher Pavilion. The annual festival began in 1976 with a gift of 1,000 cherry trees to the city of Seattle from the Japanese government to celebrate the U.S. Bicentennial.
