Cusheon Lake is located south of Ganges. One shore is populated with year-round and seasonal homes. The other shore is undeveloped public land. The lake is a domestic water supply. It is a 67-acre lake (second largest lake on SSI), with a maximum depth of 33 feet. Swimming is good, fishing is best in the spring and fall for cutthroat trout and smallmouth bass. Electric motors only. Cusheon Lake Resort is the only resort on the lake. Camping is not available on the lake, but is available elsewhere on the island. Very quiet.
