Part of the north shore mountains overlooking
Vancouver, Cypress Provincial park offers a wilderness experience within easy reach of an urban setting. High mountain meadows, pristine lakes, cool and tranquil forests of tall trees are all waiting to be discovered. There are magnificent vistas overlooking
Howe Sound and the
Gulf Islands as well as the rugged mountains within the park itself. There are long trails and short trails, difficult trails like the one to the well known Lions overlooking Vancouver, and easy ones.
This is just one of hundreds of British Columbia Provincial Parks.
