Coast Mountain Expeditions provides experienced sea kayak eco tours and island adventure vacations in beautiful British Columbia. Kayaking eco tours include wilderness accommodations at Coast Mountain Lodge on Read Island. Sauna and solar showers are located beside a forest pool on a pure cold creek. The sleeping cabins have shared rooms (2 people per) with compost-system outhouses for a high-tech rustic touch. The Lodge facility runs almost entirely with energy harnessed by solar and small hydroelectric power systems. Kayak sales are also available.
