Queen Elizabeth's official representative to the Province of British Columbia is known as the Lieutenant-Governor. The Lieutenant-Governor's official residence is called Government House. Although the house itself is closed to the public, you are welcome to stroll through the gardens which have been maintained on the property for more than 100 years.
