Hester Creek is one of British Columbia's oldest estate wineries. The 28-year-old vineyard changed hands in 1996 and has renamed after the creek that runs along the entire south border of the property. Hester Creek's 70-acre vineyard is just south of Oliver on a spectacular piece of benchland referred to as the Golden Mile. T his benchland is considered to be the best grape-growing area in the Okanagan Valley. The vineyard is planted mainly with Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Trebbiano.
