Six undeveloped caves are an impressive aspect of Vancouver Island's natural heritage in this park at the west end of Horne Lake (turnoff from Highway 19, north of Qualicum Lake). Four caves are open to the public and anyone planning to enter should be in good physical condition, well equipped and familiar with cave exploration safety and procedurese. On occasion, tours through Riverbend Cave are conducted by experienced guides. Information about these tours can be obtained from the District Office.
