The island is located betwen
Lasqueti Island and
Texada Island in the Sabine Channel of the
Strait of Georgia. Purchased from its longtime owners in 1995, the island is home to old growth stands of Douglas fir and arbutus. Important seabird nest sites and nesting colonies are located in the area. A historic farm continues to operate on the island. The park is accessible only by boat.
This is just one of hundreds of British Columbia Provincial Parks.
