On the Saanich Peninsula north of Victoria, overlooking the pastoral peninsula, the Gulf Islands and the Cascade Mountains. Walk on forested trails or climb to the summit of Mount Newton. Much of the park was donated by John Dean, a pioneer resident of Victoria. Picnicking and day-use. This is just one of hundreds of British Columbia Provincial Parks.
