Lakelse Provincial Park

Located 25 km south of Terrace on Lakelse Lake, this park offers swimming, fishing and boating. Every August sockeye salmon return here to Williams Creek, creating a spawning spectacle. Birdwatchers have also seen more than 100 species of birds here, including the migrating trumpeter swans.

There are 156 forested camping sites, with flush toilets, sani-station and free hot showers. The campground is open May to October and fees are charged except in October. Reservations are accepted.
