Located in
Yoho National Park, along the southeastern border of British Columbia, this backcountry area provides 30 camping sites, with limited common facilities; prepare for self sufficiency. The parking lot is located off Highway 1A, 15 km east of the community of
Field, ll km west of Lake Louise. Check with the Field Visitor Centre regarding parking permits. Reservations are taken no earlier than one month in advance. Bears frequent the area, so backcountry procedures for cooking and storing food must be observed.
