On Elma Bay near the north end of
Strait of Georgia, the smooth, sandy ocean beach provides comfortable sunbathing and a fascinating terrain for the study of marine life. Trails thread through the second-growth forest, home to many birds and animals. The Visitor Center provides information about local flora and fauna during the summer.
