On Elma Bay near the north end of Strait of Georgia, the smooth, sandy ocean beach provides comfortable sunbathing and a fascinating terrain for the study of marine life. Trails thread through the second-growth forest, home to many birds and animals. The Visitor Center provides information about local flora and fauna during the summer. The campground fills early in July and August. This is just one of hundreds of British Columbia Provincial Parks.
