Morton Lake Provincial Park

Fronting on both Mohun and Morton Lakes, this small park is located in the Sayward Forest northwest of Campbell River. Access is via Mohun Lake east from the private Menzies Bay logging road. The forest around the lakes, destroyed by the Great Campbell River Fire of 1938, was planted with Douglas fir, while hemlock, cedar and white pine have regenerated naturally. Visitors can fish, boat or canoe, enjoy a walk to Andrew Lake or swim in shallow and sandy Morton Lake. This is just one of hundreds of British Columbia Provincial Parks.

Plan your vacation to the Pacific Northwest with a packet of information in the mail and you may win a $200 gift certificate courtesy of our sponsors. Read reviews and find hotels in Parksville.
