Fort Nelson Public Library has over 26,000 books for readers of all ages and interests and offers periodicals, 800 books on audio and 1200 video tapes, compact discs, and computers and other information and resources. A small collection of local, topographical, major Canadian city and road maps are also available. The backroom of the library is available to non-profit groups, free of charge. Services include interlibrary loans, audiovisual, computers, internet, printing, and fax.
