Porpoise Bay Provincial Park |
Located northeast of Sechelt, this forested park offers nature interpretive programs and great swimming from a sandy beach. An old warship, the "HMCS Chaudiere", has been sunk off Kunechin Point to create an artificial reef. The raging Skookumchucktidal rapids are at the northern end of the inlet. Visitors can take a charter boat to the magnificent Chatterbox Falls at the head of Princess Louisa Inlet.
The park has 84 camping sites. Reservations are accepted, payment at the park is cash only.
This is just one of hundreds of British Columbia Provincial Parks.
