In the spectacular Nimpkish Valley on the northern part of the Island, this wilderness park features one of the few low level lakes on Vancouver Island remaining in a natural state. There are glaciers, waterways and forested mountains as well as interesting geological formations, natural meadows and other smaller lakes. The trails in the park are rudimentary, but there is plenty of scope for people who want to boat, fish, backpack or climb mountains in a wilderness environment.
This is just one of hundreds of British Columbia Provincial Parks.
