At the north end of Sidney Island (off the east coast of Vancouver Island's Saanich Peninsula), this park offers thousands of meters of sandy beaches for swimming, sunbathing and beachcombing. Sheltered anchorage is available on the west side of the spit. There are wharf and landing floats for small craft. Ashore there are camping and picnicking facilities, including a group area, water handpump, play areas and walking trails. There is passenger ferry service from Sidney in the summer.
