CFB Esquimalt Naval and Military Museum |
Situated on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, the CFB Esquimalt Naval and Military Museum exhibits focus on distinct military groups, the Royal Canadian Navy, the Canadian Women's Army Corps, and The West Coast Defenses. In addition to exhibits and displays, it houses an expanding archive and library that includes thousands of photographs and documents, histories of Canadian naval vessels, biographies of important leaders, copies of the Navy List, and Lloyd's Register of Shipping. A gift shop selling historic prints, books, ship crests, and t-shirts is attached to the museum.
