Royal Roads offers innovative programs primarily targeted to working professionals. The university concentrates on its four founding themes: entrepreneurship and management; leadership; environmental sustainability; and conflict resolution. Most programs are at the Master degree level although they also offer innovative undergraduate completion programs in commerce, science, justice studies and applied communications - as well as an increasing number of graduate diplomas, executive certificate, and professional development programs.

Seattle Japanese Cultural Festival Seattle WA April26-28 The festival features Japanese exhibits, performances, and demonstrations. Held at the Seattle Center in the Fisher Pavilion. The annual festival began in 1976 with a gift of 1,000 cherry trees to the city of Seattle from the Japanese government to celebrate the U.S. Bicentennial.
