Brussels administrative district. It hosts several educational institutions, including a hotel and catering school, a veterinary school, and a horticultural school. Erasmus resided in Anderlecht from 1517 to 1521, and the house where he lived can be toured. Anderlecht's neo-Rennaissance Town Hall features sculptures by Constantin Meurnier.
