Beauraing

Beauraing is a commune of 8,000 located 40 kilometers south of the city of Namur. Beauraing is home to several shrines commemorating the appearance of the apparition of the Virgin Mary to 5 children in 1932. A constant stream of pilgrims comes to visit a statue of Mary at the site of the apparition's appearance, stations of the cross, chapels, and gathering places in Beauraing.

Baronville, Dion, Felenne, Feschaux, Focant, Froidfontaine, Honnay, Javingue, Martouzin-Neuville, Pondrome, Voneche, Wancennes, Wiesme, and Winenne are boroughs within the municipal district of Beauraing.
