Boom, with a population of 15,000, is located 8 kilometers south of
Antwerp. The Rupel River flows through Boom, where it is fed by the Willebroek Canal coming up from
Brussels in the south. The Boom Brick Eco Museum and Archives is an open air facility which offers insight into masonry techniques and traditions.
