The palace of Franc-Waret was built in the classical French style of the 18th century. It is a large rectangular building surrounded by exquisite sculpted gardens, and has been well kept during the centuries since its construction. Recent patrons have continued to add to the splendor, introducing aromatic gardens, Japanese gardens, and medicinal gardens.
