Comblain au Pont, a commune of 5,000, lies at the confluence of the
Ourthe River and the
Ambleve River, 20 kilometers south of the city of
Liege. A rock formation known as Tartines overlooks the city -- Tartines means sandwiches, and the name reflects the sliced appearance of the cliffs, which are popular with climbers. Comblain Au Pont also features some interesting caves -- half are natural, and half are an underground limestone quarry.
Poulseur is a borough within the municipal district of Comblain-au-Pont.
