Engis, a commune with a population of 6,000, lies ten kilometers west of the city of
Liege, following the
Meuse River.
Ehein and Hermalle-Sous-Huy are boroughs within the municipal district of Engis. (There is another Ehein in Neupre, also in Liege province.)
