Momignies is a commune of 5,000 in the south of the
Hainaut province. It is surrounded by France on three sides, and is connected to Belgium by the town of
Chimay.
Beauwelz, Forge-Philippe, Macon, Macquenoise, Monceau-Imbrechies, and Seloignes are boroughs within the municipal district of Momignies.
