Museum des Sciences Naturelles

The Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences is a major, internationally renowned research center. The Institute's museum is the venue through which it introduces its work to the general public. The most famous permanent exhibit at the Museum focuses on the dinosaur species Iguanadon, and features automated full-scale models. Other major exhibits include human evolution, insects, mammals, minerals, polar ecosystems, and whales.

The Institute supplements the permanent collection by hosting two prominent temporary exhibits each year.
