The Schoolmuseum Michel Thiery is a natural history museum, with exhibits on geology, mineralogy, evolution, invertebrates, human biology, and a diorama room with birds indigenous to the Gent area. A scale model of 16th century Gent is used in a sound and light show scheduled twice daily, Gent and the Emperor Charles V.
