Voeren is a Dutch-speaking enclave with 4,300 residents, surrounded by the French-speaking communes of
Liege province. It is geographically cut off from the province of
Limburg, to which it officially belongs.
's Gravenvoeren (Fouron-le-Comte), Sint-Martens-Voeren (Fouron-Saint-Martin), Sint-Pieters-Voeren (Fouron-Saint-Pierre), Moelingen (Mouland), Remersdaal, and Teuven are boroughs within the municipal district of Voeren.
