Azusa is a model of an older suburban community, located 26 miles east of Los Angeles, that is undergoing growth and rejuvenation. Situated at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains, Azusa has nearly 50,000 residents.

The City of Azusa was founded in 1887 and incorporated as a general law city on December 29, 1898. The city is located in Greater Los Angeles, situated 27 miles northeast of the City of Los Angeles.

Located close to Los Angeles, visitors and residents of Azusa can enjoy all that Southern California has to offer. Visitors can enjoy fine dining, shopping, cultural venues, amusements parks, and a whole lot more.

Azusa is part of the Los Angeles-Long Beach, California metro area.
