Blairsden is a community in
Plumas County west of
Portola.
Blairsden has a very small population. The town had a population of 50 residents in 2000. Blairsden has a small claim to fame, as it was the filming location for the 1989 TV movie, "Breaking Point."
Visitors to the area can enjoy the Sierra Plumas Eureka State Park located nearby.
