San Juan Capistrano is Greater Orange County's oldest community. It's the birthplace of Greater Orange County and home to its oldest traditions. Most of Capistrano's history is wrapped up in their living historic landmarks, the most beautiful and best known of the California Spanish Missions, old Mission San Juan Capistrano.

Capistrano Beach is located in Orange County just south of Los Angeles between Laguna Beach and San Clemente along Interstate 5 near the San Pedro Channel and the Pacific Ocean.
