This 14 acre refuge was established in 1981 to protect an important migration staging area of the endangered Aleutian Canada goose. Is also the location of a variety of marine mammals, including California sea lion, Stellar sea lion and northern elephant seal. This rock with steep cliffs and sparse vegetation can be observed from the mainland shore. The refuge is not open to public access.
