Cazadero is located in
Sonoma County. Cazadero is a small town located in Sonoma County's western redwood forest and is about 13 miles northwest of Guerneville. The town was originally a hunting resort called "Ingrams" begun by Silas D. Ingram in 1869. Cazadero is the 2nd rainiest spot in California with 80 - 85 inches annual rainfall (Gasquet in Del Norte County has the highest average with 90 inches).
