This beautiful and unique winery is located in Douglas Flat on Highway 4 between
Angels Camp and
Murphys. Built of colorful rammed earth, the facility is not only environmentally effective, but a natural attraction to the loveliness of the area. The well tended gardens and the picnic area also make this a popular place for weddings and special events.
Owner, Gay Callan is proud that Chatom uses their own estate grown premium French and Italian grape varieties to provide the rich qualities in their award winning wines.
The winery is open daily from 11:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. for free tastings. Experience the warm, friendly staff and atmosphere, and appreciate the award winning wines Chatom offers for tasting. Specialty gift baskets are also available.
