Nestled in the hills of
Santa Ana Canyon,
Chino Hills State Park has 11,000 acres of undeveloped open space. In the middle of urban southern California, the park offers trails for hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrians. Chino hills contains rolling grass covered hills, riparian habitats with oak and sycamores and what is thought to be the largest remaining native stand of Southern California black walnut trees. The park is home to deer, coyote, bobcats and badgers.
The park entrance is on Soquel Canyon Road, 4.5 miles north of the Hwy 71 and Hwy 91 junction, near Yorba Linda.
