Incorporated in 1896 as a small farming community best known for its produce, Corona is now a quality community with a diverse economic base.The City has more than 394 acres of parks, with sports fields, basketball courts, playgrounds, tennis courts, two skateparks and an outdoor pool. This community is located at the junctions of Highway 91 and Interstate 15 east of Greater Los Angeles. The City of Corona is located approximately 45 miles southeast of Los Angeles in western Riverside County. Corona is part of the Riverside-San Bernardino, California metro area.
