Serving a student body consisting almost entirely of commuters, California State University, founded in 1965, is part of the
California State University System. In addition to a variety of undergraduate programs, the university has 18 graduate schools. Located 60 miles east of
Los Angeles, the 430-acre campus has almost 50 buildings.
