Daly City is a city of 100,000 people in northern San Mateo County, adjacent to the City and County of San Francisco, on the Pacific Ocean and just minutes away from San Francisco Bay. Daly City is known as the "Gateway to the Peninsula." The City's area extends from the Pacific Ocean on the west and nearly to San Francisco Bay on the east. Daly City's climate is cool, with few extremes.
