The museum features American art from the Colonial period through the present, including sculpture, paintings, furniture and decorative arts by artists such as Winslow Homer, Whistler, and Paul Revere. In addition, there are pieces from ancient Greece, Rome, and Egypt and from Africa, including costumes and textiles.
