A watchable wildlife site, D.L. Bliss State Park borders
Emerald Bay State Park to the north. It features one of the finest beaches in the
Lake Tahoe region. The park also has popular hiking trails, such as the Lighthouse Trail and the Balancing Rock Nature Trail. The beach is especially popular during the summer months.
The park is located 17 miles south of Tahoe City on Hwy 89, a couple of miles north of Emerald Bay.
