Domaine Carneros

Established in 1987, Domaine Carneros is surrounded by vineyards on a hillside in the Carneros Region. The spectacular chateau was inspired by the Chateau de la Marquetterie, the historic eighteenth century residence in Champagne owned by the principal founder of Domaine Carneros, Champagne Tattinger of Reims, France. Visitors may savor a glass of sparkling wine while enjoying the view from the terrace or relaxing in the elegant tasting salon.

Guided tours of the chateau offer insight to the production of sparkling wine as well as the historic background of the architecture and interior design of the facility. Tours are conducted daily on the hour from 10:15 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. For parties of less than 10 people, no appointment is necessary. All tours include an explanation of the production process and a tour of the chateau. Tours include a DVD presentation that is available in five different languages: English, French, Spanish, German and Japanese.
