The Downey Museum of Art provides visitors with works from local and national artists. The museum features exhibits from national displays. The Downey Museum is the only art museum between Downtown Los Angeles and Long Beach. Its permanent collection includes hundreds of items donated and acquired over the years with a special emphasis on the art work of Southern California.
